Sydney Metro Properties Pty Ltd (ABN 83 111 327 747, AFSL 544582) (“we”, “us”, “our”), as trustee and manager of the Sydney Metro Fund, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, hold, disclose and protect your personal information, and how we comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It applies to our website at sydneymetrofund.com.au and to all dealings we have with you.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect: identity and contact details such as your name, email, phone number and postal address; information you provide when you make an enquiry; information relevant to assessing your eligibility as a wholesale or sophisticated investor, where you choose to provide it; records of our communications with you, including SMS, email and phone; and technical information collected automatically when you use our website, such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions and activities.

We collect personal information directly from you wherever possible, including when you complete a form through our website, provide your phone number and tick a consent checkbox to receive SMS messages, or contact us by email or phone. We may also collect information from third parties or publicly available sources where it is lawful and practical to do so.

We use personal information to respond to your enquiries and provide information you request; arrange, confirm and remind you about meetings, calls and events; assess eligibility and communicate with wholesale and sophisticated investors and SMSFs in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth); operate, maintain and improve our website and services; comply with our legal and regulatory obligations; and, where you have consented, send you information about the Sydney Metro Fund and related updates.

 5.⁠ ⁠SMS and mobile messaging

If you provide your mobile number and give consent, we may send you SMS messages relating to your enquiry, such as confirmations, reminders and follow-ups. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

 6.⁠ ⁠Direct marketing and your choices

Where permitted and where you have consented, we may send you marketing communications about the Sydney Metro Fund. Every commercial electronic message we send will identify us as the sender and include a way to unsubscribe. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email, replying STOP to an SMS, or contacting us below. We handle direct marketing in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
